About CHAS

CHAS is a charity that provides the only hospice services in Scotland for children and young people who have life-shortening conditions for which there is no known cure. CHAS runs two children’s hospices, Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch, and a home care service called CHAS at Home.






Every day it costs over £22,000 to run CHAS care services.

They offer care for the whole family in their two children’s hospices, Rachel House in Kinross and Robin Housein Balloch. They also run a homecare service called CHAS at Home helping families in their own homes across Scotland when they need it most.

They are currently supporting over 300 families, as well as a significant number of families who receive bereavement support.

Their services are funded mainly through the generosity of our many supporters who help them to raise over £8 million needed each year to provide these hospice services.
